Just back from a brilliant 4 night stay in our camper van at Pooh Cottage Holiday Park. A really nice camp site in a quiet location, but handy for exploring the local area. A short walk takes you to a nearby pub, a slightly longer walk down into Budleigh Salterton, a nice little town with a great beach. A bus stop wasn't too far away that would get you to Exmouth, and from there to points further west.

The site was incredibly well-maintained with fantastic facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful.  Our hardstanding pitch was level and very well drained and even had a grid laid across the grass area to help us get on/off without getting stuck or too muddy (given the torrential rain, a bonus!). Fabulous facilities on site, great welcome by very friendly staff. We called at the end of day just to see if they had a plot available on a spontaneous night away in the van. Very close to other places to visit, easy walk into Budleigh salterton. Will definitely go back.

Only stayed for a weekend but a really beautiful area and camp site. Friendly helpful staff.
Highly recommend coming here if you love peace and quiet and lovely walks...the local beach is about 20mins away by car.

Excellent site with top class facilities clean and modern everything you need on site service pitches very helpful and attentive. Staff could not do enough for you. Well-kept grounds really quiet. Absolutely perfect on the cycle path into Exmouth 4 miles, walk into Budleigh Salterton in 20 minutes. Really great areas Sidmouth is stunning all within 20 minutes of the site.

What a great find this Campsite was.. we stayed for 4 nights in our tent, from 1st Reception to departure was Fab.

Toilet's etc great.

Location, brilliant...walks from the gate, our dogs loved it !!!

A lot of Seasonal pitches, but all very friendly and welcoming.

An absolutely lovely little campsite! We spent a couple of nights camping and will definitely return, great hosts checking in with each pitch regularly and also working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure all the facilities were always clean and ready for guests. The "new" (I haven't been there for a number of years) toilet and shower block was perfect for us as a family - always clean and the shower rooms extremely spacious to allow us to help the children get changed too. Wifi was free and worked well too throughout our stay. The pitch sizes were ample and it was peaceful and quiet - bats spotted and owls heard in the evenings, stars aplenty visible on a clear night! Absolutely loved our little camping holiday. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Facilities were spotless and indeed luxury ✨️
We loved spotting all of the wooden animals around the site, as well as the real animals that paid us a visit each evening/night. Seeing an owl on our first night there was a real treat.
